How we collect, use, and protect your information across signals, analysis, and optional automation.

Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Lazyedge ("we," "us") handles information when you use our services, including Signals (free analysis and signal access), EdgeCore-related insights in the product experience, and optional Automation via EdgeX when you subscribe and connect supported accounts or APIs.

Information we collect

Account and contact

  • Email address and basic profile data needed to create and secure your account
  • Payment and billing identifiers when you purchase Automation or other paid offerings (processed by payment providers; we do not store full card numbers on our servers)
  • Support correspondence when you contact us

Product usage

  • In-app activity needed to operate the product (for example, preferences, feature usage, and session data)
  • Signals history and interaction with published analysis, where the product records it
  • Configuration relevant to EdgeX automation (for example, rules or limits you set), strictly as needed to provide the service

Broker and platform credentials (Automation only)

If you enable Automation (EdgeX), you may be asked to provide credentials your broker or trading platform uses for sign-in or API access (for example, login identifiers and passwords, server or terminal IDs, or API keys—whatever the integration requires).

How we handle credentials (data practices):

  • Encryption and storage: credentials needed for Automation are treated as highly sensitive. We protect them with technical measures appropriate to that classification, including encryption at rest and restricted access within our environment. We do not store or expose plaintext passwords for broker or platform sign-in; secrets are handled so they are not readable as plain text in our systems in ordinary operation.
  • Purpose limitation: we use stored credentials solely to authenticate, maintain the connection, and execute trades and related actions on your behalf in accordance with your configured rules and limits (and broker/platform constraints)—plus security, support, and compliance processing described in this policy. We do not use them for unrelated marketing.
  • Your choices: you can stop Automation by disconnecting accounts or closing your subscription as the product allows; credential updates or rotation may be handled in-app or via support depending on the integration.

Scope of our access (what we do not do):

  • Lazyedge does not have the ability to withdraw funds from your trading account. Funds and margin remain under your broker’s custody and control. We may hold access credentials or tokens strictly so the product can connect and send instructions you authorize; that is not the same as holding your money.

Trading risk, losses, automation behavior, and your legal responsibilities are not governed by this Privacy Policy—see the Terms of Service and Risk Disclaimer.

No absolute security: No storage or transmission method is perfect. The statements above describe how we intend to handle data; they are not a promise that credentials can never be compromised. See Data security and No security warranty below.

Trading-related context

  • Market instruments or pairs you follow, product logs, and operational telemetry required for reliability and security

How we use your information

  • Deliver Signals, analysis, and optional EdgeX automation you enable, including using stored broker/platform credentials only to connect and run that automation as you configure it (not to move money out of your broker account—see Broker and platform credentials above)
  • Process payments, subscriptions, and lifetime offers where applicable
  • Send service, security, and legal notices
  • Improve reliability, security, and product quality (including aggregated or de-identified analytics where allowed)
  • Respond to support requests and enforce our terms

Data security

We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we process, including encryption in transit where standard for the channel and protections we believe are appropriate for highly sensitive data (such as broker credentials) when Automation is in scope. No method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure. Our efforts do not guarantee any particular outcome.

No security warranty; limitation of liability for processing

Our privacy and security practices are not a promise or warranty that information cannot be lost, stolen, intercepted, altered, disclosed, misused, or otherwise compromised.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lazyedge and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any damages, losses, costs, or liabilities arising out of or relating to:

  • Unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, loss, or misuse of personal information or credentials;
  • Any incident affecting confidentiality, integrity, or availability of information processed in connection with the services;
  • Your reliance on our security posture, documentation, support guidance, or product design,

whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, including any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages—even if we have been advised of the possibility—except where such limitation is void under mandatory law (for example, some jurisdictions do not allow certain caps or waivers for consumers or for particular harms).

Your sole and exclusive remedies regarding privacy and data processing—other than rights that cannot be waived under mandatory law—are governed by the Terms of Service (including warranty disclaimers, caps, and exclusions), which are incorporated by reference into this limitation.

Third-party services

We rely on vendors we believe are reputable, which may include payment processors (for example, Stripe), email delivery, infrastructure, and analytics. Their use of your information is governed by their policies and our agreements with them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise privacy-related requests, contact privacy@lazyedge.com. We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Children

Lazyedge is not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required in your jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date.
