Terms of Service

Terms for using Lazyedge: free Signals and analysis (EdgeCore), and paid Automation (EdgeX) where offered.

Terms of Service

Effective date: April 3, 2026

By accessing or using Lazyedge’s websites, apps, or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

Service description

Lazyedge offers:

  • Signals — access to market analysis and published signals (often referred to in-product in relation to EdgeCore-style orchestration and insights). Signals do not execute trades by themselves.
  • Automation — a paid tier that may use EdgeX to route orders or otherwise act on your connected accounts only according to configuration and rules you enable, subject to broker, API, and platform constraints.

We may add, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical. Nothing in the product removes your obligation to comply with your broker’s terms and applicable law.

Broker credentials and Automation

To use Automation (EdgeX), you may submit broker or platform login details, API keys, or similar credentials so we can connect to the account you designate.

  • You authorize Lazyedge to receive, encrypt, store, and use those credentials solely to provide the Automation service you enable (for example, authenticating sessions with your broker or platform and sending instructions consistent with your settings). How we process and protect that data is described in the Privacy Policy.
  • You represent that you own or are authorized to use each connected account and that your use of Lazyedge—including automated access—does not violate your broker’s or platform’s terms, any agreement with them, or applicable law.
  • Lazyedge is not your broker; your relationship with the execution venue remains directly with that provider for balances, margin, and disputes, subject to their policies. Lazyedge does not have the ability to withdraw funds from your trading account; funds remain under your broker’s control.

Programmatic execution

By connecting a trading account and enabling Automation, you grant Lazyedge permission to execute trades and related actions programmatically on that account according to your configuration, subject to broker, API, and platform capabilities, limits, and outages. That permission is limited to what the product is designed to do and ends when you disconnect or disable Automation as the product allows—notwithstanding any lag or residual orders already in flight with your broker.

Credential security, compromise, and your responsibility

Automation depends on credentials and systems you and we each protect. If your account credentials, devices, or broker access are compromised (including by phishing, malware, or loss of a device), unauthorized trading activity may occur, which could result in partial or total loss of funds in the affected trading account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials, devices, and broker account (including strong secrets, rotation where supported, and monitoring statements and open positions). We implement safeguards described in our Privacy Policy and product design but do not warrant that compromise cannot occur. We do not state or imply that your account or funds are “safe,” “risk-free,” or free from loss.

Automation performance, market reality, and controls

Lazyedge is designed to enforce user-defined risk controls and execution rules; however, it does not guarantee profit, does not guarantee that losses will be prevented, and does not remove market, leverage, or operational risk. Market conditions, slippage, spreads, liquidity, latency, and execution timing may materially affect outcomes—including fills, partial fills, and unintended exposure if settings or connectivity are wrong.

Your control: where the product provides it, you may disable automated trading at any time. Lazyedge may also apply safeguards that pause or limit execution under certain conditions (for example, connectivity, risk, or product-design rules as documented in-app). Those controls and safeguards reduce some risks; they do not eliminate them and are not a substitute for monitoring your account and broker activity.

Not financial advice

Lazyedge is a software tool for trade-related analysis and, when you choose it, execution; it does not constitute personalized financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All content and automation behavior are informational or operational unless you obtain separate professional advice. See the Risk Disclaimer.

Eligibility and account

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for accurate registration information, safeguarding credentials, and all activity under your account.

User responsibilities

  • You remain solely responsible for trading decisions and for Automation settings (EdgeX rules, risk limits, and connections you approve).
  • You remain responsible for the security of your credentials, devices, and broker accounts, and for losses that may result from unauthorized use or market activity, as further described under Broker credentials and Automation and the Risk Disclaimer.
  • You must comply with applicable laws, regulations, and third-party terms (including brokers and exchanges).
  • You will not misuse the services, probe or attack our systems, scrape in violation of our policies, or reverse engineer our software except where mandatory law allows.

Fees and subscriptions

  • Signals may be offered at no charge.
  • Automation and other paid features are billed according to the plan shown in the product at checkout (for example, monthly subscription or, where offered, Lifetime access for a one-time fee).
  • Taxes may apply.
  • Unless required otherwise by law or a specific written offer, fees are non-refundable once charged, including for partial periods.
  • We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice to your account email or in-product notice.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, reliability, adequacy, completeness, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Without limiting the foregoing:

  • We do not warrant that the services will meet your requirements, operate uninterrupted, be error-free, secure, virus-free, or free of harmful components.
  • We do not warrant the accuracy, timeliness, or profitability of any signal, model, automation behavior, or analysis.
  • Security: we work toward responsible handling of information (including broker credentials) using practices we believe are appropriate for our product. That effort does not create any warranty, representation, or guarantee that data will be free from loss, corruption, delay, interception, alteration, unauthorized access, unauthorized disclosure, or misuse by third parties or otherwise. You accept that digital systems carry inherent risk and you use the services at your own risk.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers; in those jurisdictions, disclaimers apply to the maximum extent permitted.

Assumption of risk

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risks associated with access to and use of the services, including risks relating to markets, leverage, automation, technology, connectivity, credential handling, data processing, regulatory change, and acts or omissions of brokers, platforms, vendors, or other third parties.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

Types of damages

In no event will Lazyedge, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, licensors, or suppliers (collectively, “Lazyedge parties”) be liable for any:

  • Trading, investment, or economic losses, lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, lost opportunities, or lost or damaged positions;
  • Loss, corruption, unavailability, or recovery costs regarding data, records, credentials, or content;
  • Personal, bodily, or emotional injury (except where such exclusion is prohibited by mandatory law);
  • Unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, or misuse of information, or claims arising from privacy, security, confidentiality, or data incidents, regardless of whether we implemented safeguards or practices intended to reduce such risks (unless applicable mandatory law provides otherwise);
  • Indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, reliance, or consequential damages of any kind;
  • Damages arising from third-party services, brokers, platforms, networks, or infrastructure;
  • Damages arising from your failure to secure devices, accounts, secrets, or configurations, or from your reliance on the services;
  • Damages arising from delay, interruption, denial-of-service, or force majeure-type events beyond our reasonable control,

whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or any other theory, and even if a Lazyedge party has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Cap on total liability

Notwithstanding anything else in these terms, the aggregate total liability of the Lazyedge parties for all claims arising out of or relating to the services or these terms—whether in contract, tort, or otherwise—will be limited to the greater of:

  1. One hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100), or
  2. The total amounts you paid Lazyedge for paid services in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

If you have paid nothing to Lazyedge (for example, you use Signals only), Lazyedge parties’ aggregate liability is zero U.S. dollars (USD 0).

Mandatory law carve-out

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory applicable law (which may include certain consumer, fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, death, or personal injury rules depending on your jurisdiction). Where a limitation is not permitted, our liability is limited to the minimum extent required by that law.

Indemnity

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Lazyedge parties from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the services; (b) your trading or Automation configuration; (c) your broker/platform accounts or credentials; (d) your violation of these terms or applicable law; or (e) your violation of any third-party rights—except to the extent a claim arises solely from a Lazyedge party’s willful misconduct or to the extent indemnity is not enforceable under mandatory law.

Intellectual property

Lazyedge retains all rights in the services, branding, software, models, and documentation. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the services according to these terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, or legal obligation. You may stop using the services at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, IP) will survive termination.

Miscellaneous

If a provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. These terms, together with the policies we link to (including the Privacy Policy and Risk Disclaimer), are the entire agreement regarding your use of the services as described here. Mandatory consumer rights in your country still apply where the law requires.
